Biography of William Eschenfelder

William Eschenfelder Sr. comes to Introtech with almost 34 years of law enforcement experience as a former Patrol Lieutenant in the Westlake Ohio Police Department, during which time he conducted crime scene and motor vehicle investigations and served as an evidence technician and first responder medical aide. Mr. Eschenfelder was also in charge of the department’s Accident Investigation Unit, which was responsible for completion and accuracy of all fatal, serious injury and department involved motor vehicle crash reports.
Mr. Eschenfelder holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Toledo and an Associate of Applied Science in Law Enforcement Technology Degree from the University of Toledo-Community and Technical College. He is also a graduate of the FBI Academy.
He is an expert in crash investigation and reconstruction, physical evidence, vehicular homicide, pedestrian accidents and human factors analysis, motorcycle accidents, emergency crime scene response, vehicle dynamics, total station forensic mapping, biomechanics in accident reconstruction, occupant kinematics, forensic aspects of traffic collision reconstruction and Bosch Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) analysis.
Mr. Eschenfelder is a member of the National Association of Traffic Accident Reconstructionists and Investigators (NATARI) and the Fraternal Order of Police. He holds certificates in Traffic Accident Reconstruction from the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction, Nikon Total Station Data Collection and Bosch CDR Data analysis.
